Investor Profile:
McAninch
The McAninch Corporation began in 1967 when Dwayne McAninch built his first
farm pond with a D7 dozer. Today, with a fleet of more than 600 Caterpillar machines,
McAninch is one of the Midwest’s largest earthmoving, underground utility and site
development services contractors. We complete many small projects each season, but
specialize in large-scale mobilization of equipment for mass grading work. |

Under the leadership of Doug McAninch President/COO, McAninch is nationally
recognized as one of the most technically advanced earthmoving contractors. Since
the 1980s we have served as one of Cat’s beta sites for the testing of new components
and machine configurations. College engineering faculty consult with us on soil
technologies and our personnel are active in NAGC industry-advancement efforts.
Typical private-sector projects include residential developments, golf courses,
shopping centers, office complexes, power plants—a complete spectrum of end
uses. In many cases we collaborate with owners and developers as the engineering
plans are developed. In the public sector, we build highways, airports, and flood-control
levies, often in co-bid partnership with other contractors.
